ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Santa Fe Friends of Traditional Music (SFFTM) was established in 2017-18 as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of Santa Fe Friends of Traditional Music is to celebrate & strengthen traditional music and related folk arts in New Mexico and the Southwest, primarily through presenting the annual Santa Fe Traditional Music Festival, also known as Santa Fe TradFest. Santa Fe TradFest is an annual three-day event, held each year on the weekend before Labor Day Weekend. The festival is held at a beautiful, wooded site on the historic Santa Fe Trail, ten miles from downtown Santa Fe. Santa Fe TradFest draws audiences of 1,000 – 1,200 people of all ages. The organization has a history of collaborating with other arts and arts-related organizations.

Genres Presented: Traditional old-time string band and vocal music, bluegrass, New Mexico Hispanic music & dance, Native American music & dance, cowboy/Western music, blues, Klezmer, Louisiana Cajun & Creole music, Balkan, and other forms of traditional music.
Artist Fee Range: $500 – $6,500
Months Presenting: Annually during the month of August for the Santa Fe TradFest festival. Other concerts during the year are possible.
